The BAEF encourages application for Fellowships for advanced study or research at a Belgian university or institution of higher learning.
The BAEF awards annually up to 11 Fellowships to American students or researchers. In addition to the stipend, the BAEF will provide health insurance.
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Knowledge of Dutch, or French, or German is optional.
Applicants should make their own arrangements to register or affiliate with a Belgian university of research institution.
